HOURS OF OPERATION: 9 a.m. to 10 minutes after sunset
Range Procedures
- Drop sign at gate to read “Range in Use”.
- Raise RED flag at Gate.
- Drop “Range in Use” signs at gate to trap range (Range B).RED flag at end of fence
- Everyone must sign Log Book in Club House or At B Range
- Guests must fill out “Guest Form” located by Log Book
- RED or GREEN flag at range flag pole
- CLUB “ ID “ MUST BE WORN
- HAND THROWERS MUST NOT BE USED
Range Rules
- EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS MANDATORY.
- There Must Always Be A Club Approved RANGE OFFICER.
- The range officer shall give all commands: LINE IS READY, LINE IS CLEAR & CEASE-FIRE.
- The range officer shall be responsible for ensuring all firearms are unloaded during a ‘CEASE-FIRE” and no firearms are handled while any person is “DOWN RANGE”. Under GREEN Flag
- Coming to and from the firing line, firearms are to be unloaded and clear of ammunition.
- Firearms MUST NOT be HANDLED or PREPARED for firing EXCEPT at the “FIRING LINE”. Under RED flag.
- First shooter may load, only after RED flag is up and Range Officer gives the “Ready” command.
- Load only one round in shotgun (2 for doubles) AT YOUR TURN ONLY.
- Wait till after next shooter has fired, before discarding spent cartridge
- No person shall approach the Firing Line when it is “ACTIVE” and RED FLAG is up
- RED flag—Range is Active.
- When GREEN flag is up, all firearms must be unloaded and BENCHED OR RACKED
- Firearms must be uncased at Safe Bench. And racked ( NO AMMUNITION )_
- AMMUNITION and Supplies, to be placed on Range Equipment bench
- R/O Will make up shooting order on score sheet.
- Club thrower may ONLY be used by designated Trap R/O or Trap director..
- BARREL MUST BE 26” or MORE in length
